MOSNEY
(HALF TIME – FIXED TERM CONTRACT, 1 YEAR)
_The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not
for profit public service organisation. We provide a range of
therapeutic supportive services to children and families, based in the
greater Dublin region. The Service works in collaboration with TUSLA
Child and Family Agency local areas in Dublin North and North City,
East and Dublin Mid Leinster._
_Our Services include an Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS),
Family Centre Service, Dublin Safer Families Service and Assessment
Services._
The DoCCFS are seeking applications to the post of FAMILY WORKER for
placement in our Early Childhood Development Service in Mosney. The
focus of the role will be to provide systemic support to children and
families and to link in with the ECDS Centre in Mosney and our Family
Centre in Balbriggan.
Candidates must be educated to degree level in Social Care, Social
Work or a relevant therapeutic discipline. Candidates must have a
minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
Additional qualifications and/or experience working therapeutically
with children and families will be a distinct advantage. A full
knowledge of the child protection legislation underpinning work in
this area is essential.
